Q: Is the 2008 Toyota Yaris eligible for a Hybrid vehicle credit?
I am working on doing my taxes, and I am having a hard time finding information on the subject.
A: Not unless you converted it to be a hybrid, EV, or NGV!

Q: Toyota Yaris (2008 model) 2nd hand ?
Could any one please tell me what a 2nd hand Toyota Yaris (2008 model) would cost at present? Is it any good for long distance motorway driving? Thanks
A: In North America, there is a blue book that gives the value of used vehicles. There is probably something similar in your country. Try a search for "blue book" and see what comes up that is relevant.
As for long distance driving. I see them regularly on the expressways of North America and as a truck driver, I note that the registration plates are frequently not that of the local state. Toyota has a decent reputation so the Yaris is likely good for long haul. If you are tall, you may need to stop more frequently to stretch, but that is a personal thing.
Q: i have a 2008 toyota yaris and someone keyed the one side and its to deep to buff out how can i fix it cheaply
its my first car and it just really infuriates me that someone would do this im only 17 and i dont have alot of money so does anyone know of a cheap way to fix this its only on the rear passenger side door
A: File an insurance claim and have a body shop repair it. Also file a police report. They may find the culprit.
A way to hide it somewhat is to rub a similar colr crayon over the scratch, then buff it flat and wax over it.
Q: i was thinking of getting a new car but i dunno what the best deal the first car is a 2008 toyota yaris?
for 13000 or a 2007 honda fit sport package and have 15000 miles for 1400 which would be the best car and the best mpg
A: Honda Fit
is 10X better than the yaris
the yaris has a noisy unrefined engine, bad brakes and is unstable at Hwy speeds.
the Honda comes standard with power accessories, anti lock brakes and side curtain air bags.
you won't win any drag races but you will get 32/34 mpg.
a new one cost $15,287.
Q: 2008 Toyota Yaris...good buy?
Hello,
I've been researching the Yaris and it seems like it has everything I could possibly want in a car. I'd just like to know more about crash test ratings and such, and do the gauges in the middle of the dash take a LOT of effort to get used to?
My current car is a 2000 Toyota Avalon and it has over 170,000 miles on it. It's only needed basic maintenance over all these years. I'm not driving anything but a " 'Yota".
A: I just bought a 2008 yaris saturday. i had done alot of research aswell but i was worried more about the gas millage. Which let me tell you is awesome. I drive to and from work everyday about 60 miles and having my new yaris is making my trips alot cheaper and easier. But to awnser your question I havent got into any recks but there was a 5 star rating for the drivers seat and a 4 star for passenger. But i have to say i work for a police station and i believe that it really doesnt matter about what size or how safe your car is. your never 100% safe. But about the middle gauges. I didnt have a problem getting use to them. I really like them alot better. I think its alot more rommie inside and i think the storage that it alows makes it better. I would recommend this car to anyone. Also if you havnt got inside one yet...go do so. I had a honda civic 4 dr prier to getting the yaris. and my 3 dr yaris has so much more room inside..and i feel like im more off the ground. So i feel lot safer in the yaris.

Q: 2008 Toyota Yaris vs 2008 Honda Fit. Which is better&which does better in snow??
A: The Honda Fit
is 10 times better than the Yaris.
the Toyota has a noisy unrefined engine, bad brakes and a poor hwy ride. You might get over the center mounted gauges but the unstable ride at anything over 50 mph never gets better.
the Fit comes standard with all power accessories, side curtain air bags and ABS brakes.
they are both FWD so they would do fairly well is light snow but you should look into snow tires for anything heavy.
Highs: Versatile interior, handling, fuel economy, standard ABS, powertrain, controls, access, turning circle, crash-test results, reliability.
Honda's small four-door hatchback offers easy access and good visibility, and has an amazing amount of interior room. The rear seats can be folded flat or the cushion can fold up against the backrest, creating a deep, flat floor that can accommodate bulky or tall items. While not overly powerful, the Fit feels responsive, with a smooth and willing engine, and agile handling. Overall fuel economy is an excellent 34 mpg for the manual and 32 mpg for the automatic.(Consumer reports)
Q: When Toyota will release the 2008 Yaris Model?
I'm planning to buy a new car, however I'm most interested in the 2008 models instead of 2007. How I find the possible date of release of the Yaris 2008. I live at Puerto Rico, US
A: I don't know the release date yet, but I can tell you that Toyota is a manufacturer that typically does not release the next model year of cars until they have nearly completely sold out of the current model year.
I expect to see the 2008 Yaris around November. If there was a major redesign, they would roll them out a little earlier.
There are no major changes planned to the 2008 yaris. I would suggest considering the 2007 and saving yourself a little cash. Unless you are willing to wait until the middle of 2008 for that model.
good luck.
Q: How much does a Toyota Yaris liftback (not S) 2008 model cost in all?
I'm not planning on getting any other features just the basic. I know the starting price is $11,300 with 36 MPG but with tax and all what is the total price approximately?
A: That depends on the Laws where you live, Tax, Title and License. You could check out your DMV for such info.
Q: 2008 Toyota Yaris OR CPO Scion? And why? Thanks!?
