Q: How do i use my factory head unit(2007 Toyota Yaris LB) and run an amp and one subwoofer?
Do I need a line out converter?
A: If the radio doesn't support any pre amp outputs, you need a line output converter to convert the high level signals to a pre amp low voltage. Or you can get an amplifier with the feature of high levels speaker input, thhis way just connect the speaker wires of the headunit to the amplifier.
You can connect the front speakers in paralle using 2 channels and the remaining channel to your sub.
Q: Does anyone know how to reset the maintenence required dash light on my 2007 Toyota Yaris?
A: You need to take you car in for service. They can turn it off and tell you what you need for your car.
Q: Can you put a 17 inch rims on a 2007 toyota yaris?
and can you lower it by 2 incehes?
A: More than likely, Toyota Canada sells lowering kits from TRD for the Yaris, and in the US, 18" Rims are available. People who're saying "no" to this are probably saying this because of dislike of the vehicle.
["TRD" is Toyota Racing Development]
Q: Can I install power door locks on my 2007 Toyota Yaris?
I have received mixed answers on this. The reason I bought the car is because the salesman said it could be done aftermarket. Then I went to a trusted mechanic from Toyota and he said no. Can I put power locks on my car? How much would it cost if it can be done?
A: Yes, door actuators can be installed your Yaris.....but only by a really good installer....you have wire door locks which make them more difficult to install motors on them.....most vehicles have a metal rod for the locks unlike yours....I run a company installing for car dealerships only and we've done you car a few times with no problems....just time and plenty of patience.
Q: How do I find a specifice fuze box slot for a 2007 Toyota Yaris?
It's slot #24 and its by the driveside dash
I can't take it to the dealer no time
A: Since its so new, take it to the dealer.
Q: where is the best posted price for a 2007 toyota yaris in pennsylvania?
A: $22,175??? The MSRP is $11,150 and the invoice is about $10,450. This is for a manual hatchback with no options but if you don't mind rolling down your own windows then your looking at between $12,000 - $13,000 out the door depending on the dealer and sales tax where you live. They should be able to throw in a radio as well.
Q: should I get a 2007 Toyota Yaris or a 2008 scion xD?
The Yaris is a Toyota. Enough said.
Scion is also a Toyota, but is Scion (in general) consistant with toyota's reputation of reliability and quality?
The xD comes with most all the wanted accesories stock, but I am still unsure of Scion's quality.
your educated opinions will help me tremendously.
Thank you.
A: Scion is consistent with Toyota's reputation of reliability and quality.
Whatever the case, both are reliable vehicles, but I believe the xD is the better vehicle. It is a hatchback, meaning it'll be more versatile, and my impression is that you get more for your money from the Scion.
Q: Handling a 2007 Toyota Yaris during its break-in period. May I ask for your opinions on this?
I just leased a new 2007 Toyota Yaris for the new school year back in July. And, remembering the general info. about its break-in period (gentle driving, no cruise or constant speeds, etc. for the first 1,000 miles), I still forgot about it.
Ok, so I now have 1,200 miles on it and its been about a month now (in case you are wondering, I took two 400 mile trips).
First 800 miles consisted of casual driving from my house and to work. There was one 400 mile trip mixed in (at about 200 miles). Speeds varied during that one but never exceeded 65mph. At one point, I had to floor it to get onto the freeway.
Then I rough-housed it for the last 400 miles. The trip to Milwaukee sort of pushed it. I used the cruise occasionally. But the trip consisted of two long periods of constant driving: one at 60mph and the other at 70mph. I had to floor it once, drove it through a rainstorm, and went through 3 rather heavy construction zones.
What do you think of this? Too hard, bad engine?
A: well id say its pretty slow if you had to floor it to get on the freeway
Q: which cd changers' brands compatible with the original factory cassette of 2007 toyota yaris?
I just bought a 2007 Toyota Yaris and i want to put in it a cd changer as it is written in the manual that the cassette has cd changer control.
I heard that there are cd changers that can be installed but by the radio . If anyone could tell me more about them .
plus i was wondering if there are cd changers that can be installed normally without getting it too complicated and if there is so which brands am i gonna use and wether they play mp3 cd's or audio cd's in short please gime every piece of information that you can bring.
thanx a lot of your time and you have been very helpful
My cassette has a disk button and i heard that the fm modulators doesn't sound that good
A: easiest way to do it is get a factory cd changer, but that's really expensive, second easiest is to look on crutchfield.com for a changer made by USA Spec (think that's right), they make changers that work with factory radios. As far as installing a different head unit, you can buy conversion plugs that change the toyota wiring harness to whatever kind of harness is on the player you want, many times the installation is free plus materials when you buy it from a local store. It's more complicated with a premium sound system but it doesn't sound like you have one. And if you just buy a new head unit, it's probably the cheapest route and you can get it with whatever you want
Q: Has anyone had any major problems (recalls) with the new 2007 Toyota Yaris?
Please do not just give your opinion, actually answer.
A: I just checked the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration web site and there are no recalls listed for this vehicle. A good site to read a review on these Vehicles would be Edmunds.com Below are some links to help you. Good Luck and I hope that this helps.
