Q: Can I pull a fifth-wheel trailer with my 2007 Toyota Tundra Crewmax. It has a 51/2 ft bed.?
I have gotten conflicting answers for this question. Some have said absolutely no while others have said I can with an automatic slider, so which is it ?
A: It comes down to what is the weight of the 5th wheel and what is the allowable towed weight for the truck. And I don't mean the manufacturers advertised weight for the 5th wheel. You should weigh it as it's loaded for travel. Additionally you need to look at the Gross Combined Weight Rating for the pickup. That is the weight of the truck, loaded for travel, plus the weight of the 5th wheel, loaded for travel. You want to make sure that you don't exceed either the Gross Allowable Towed or the Gross Allowable Combined. In fact I prefer to try staying around 10 % below either one for a safety factor.
Q: Does anybody know when is the new Toyota Tundra 2007 4x4 coming to the market?
I want to buy this model with the shift in the middle of the 2 seats, not in the steering.

Q: Key programing the 2007 Toyota Tundra?
Does anyone know the steps for programming that variables on the 2007 Toyota Tundra?? (odo on "Trip A", press and hold, turn key on but don't start, wait for ---- countdown to reset oil change reminder. e.g.) There are more than a few of these type programming variables but no listing (I know of) that includes the instructions for settings such as auto door lock timers, auto lights on, seat belt warning timer, etc...
A: the dealer does those with there scan tool just take it to the dealer and tell them what you want to do and they can change those items for you.

I recently purchased a black 2007 Toyota Tundra and was thinking of replacing the tail lights with Black housing tail lights, such as the one's I see all the time on Tahoes, and F-150's. I'm having trouble finding websites that have aftermarket accessories for my truck. It may be because it's still a fairly new model. Does anyone know of any? Please Help, Thanks

Q: How do I mount a snoway plow to my Toyota Tundra 2007. The manual does not show where to mount it.?
A: Well if you read the Toyota warranty, it says not to unless you want the warranty to go away. It clearly states that snow plowing voids the warranty on the truck. This was pointed out to me by a service manager at Toyota.

Need to replace my tires on my 2007 tundra. Looking for some wide set offroad style tires...looking for a good look and good offroad but still ok on the road. Any help is appreciated??
A: 285/50R20 Nitto Dune Grappler. The Nitto Mud Grappler is too aggressive and would not ride well on the road. The Dune Grappler has an awesome tread pattern and the ride is pretty good. The installed price for these will be around $250-275 a piece.

in the back seat we are not able to push the seat covers all the way down.

A: They probably are the "tethers" for the LATCH system.
LATCH stands for :
Lower Anchors & Tethers for Children.
First pioneered by Ford & federally mandated in 1999 for ALL vehicles in the US

Q: Fast idle on 2007 Toyota Tundra?
I bought a new 2007 Tundra last summer (4.7 V-8, 4WD, automatic trans.) The truck seems as if you have to brake constantly to simply hold it back. it is very annoying at traffic lights etc. On a level surface, I can simply remove my foot from the brake and gradually proceed to nearly 30 mph without touching the gas. The dealer says this is typical of this vehicle (fast idle). I have driven for 40 years and have never encountered this type of problem. Has anyone else experienced the same concern? At what RPM should this truck typically idle?
A: Most any vehicle I have had with automatic transmission has idled at about 600 rpm, once it comes off of fast idle when cold. However, some vehicles (including yours) bump up the idle when the AC compressor is running (which likely includes defrost). Maybe they boosted the base idle to avoid complaints of erratic idle.
Does the emissions sticker under the hood, or your owner's manual, list normal idle speed?

i have 07 camry. so try the camry way.
put odometer in trip a position and turn off ignition.
hold trip button in and hold it in as you turn ignition to on position.
it will flash.
turn off ignition.
restart car. the light should be out if it uses the same procedure as camry.
