Q: 2005 toyota tundra tire pressure light?
does anyone know how to reset the tire pressure light i cant find my owners manual i did put air in them and it is holding i hadnt driven it in a while and i know i have to reset it cuz ive done it before i just dont remember how and i dont have my book

A: Hi, this is a simple question, but there are more details that you should be aware of, especially if you lost your owner's manual. The tire pressure monitors work on all four regular tires and the spare on the 2005 Tundras (don't want you to get stuck with a flat spare). So make sure you check all five tires if the TPS (tire pressure sensor) still lights up after you reset it. The TPS will not go off on it's own, even after inflating the tires. It's a safety system and the system is designed to make sure you check and correct what's wrong. To zero the sensor, use a digital gauge, not a stick gauge (stick gauges are only good for getting close, not accurate readings that will save tire wear and save gas). When you press the TPS button, you will be zeroing out the old setting and telling the system to go with the new setting. So the system should be reset any time the tires are changed, rotated, or inflated from a low pressure for any reason. Make sure the tire pressure is set to the pressure on the driver's door sticker, never the pressure stamped into the tire. The tire stamp is what the tire manufacturer feels is safe for that tire, not that tire on a specific vehicle. It's your choice, but never go above five pounds over that door sticker, and never go below. Once the pressure is correct, you will press a button marked with a symbol that looks like an exclamation point inside a horseshoe. It is located under the steering column, go straight down from the steering wheel and you'll see the button. Obviously, you'll be in park when you do this.

Q: Which should I get a toyota tundra or an fj cruiser?
I have a 2005 mustang convertible I got as a present.. well it was my mom's and I don't really like it so I'm selling it next month and I'm having a hell of a time choosing between the two.. So tundra or fj?

A: Get the Tundra. I'm not a fan of each (eventhough I am a Toyota fan), but the Tundra will be a better investment in the future. Fj is simply a fad vehicle. Reliable? Yes, but it still is a fad vehicle.

Q: Toyota Tundra or Dodge Ram 1500?
I own a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi with a Flowmaster Exhaust and one of my neighbor's has a 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7 IForce. He thinks that it can beat my truck by a longshot, in both take off and finish a 1/4 mile. Which would win, should I race? I don't want to blow the engine or anything but I have raced for several years before so I can drive well, same for him.

A: It will be a close race, also depends on your rear end gearing. Different gear rations will have different acceleration times. And hopefully your neighbors toyota does not snap the camshaft like those trucks do. Gotta love that perceived toyota quality.
