Q: How can I fit 35" tires on a 2000 toyota tundra access cab?
Currently I have 33" tires and they are pretty bald, I'm running a 2.5 inch bilstien suspension lift in front how would I fit 35"'s

A: you are goin to want to lift the entire truck even further. 33"s will fir fine with the setup you have now but for 35"s you're gunna want it up higher. Me personally will NEVER install a body lift! They are the worst lift there is and pretty dam pointless unless you plan on going with tires that are 40" and adove. Look into puttin in a medium lift kit which is 4"-6". Spend the extra money to get the Complete kit! Front and back this time. Not just front. Best option is to go with Pro-comp, Skyjacker, Rough Country, Superlift, or Fabtech. I know guys that are running skyjacker and rough country and love them. One of the guys in town runs a pro-comp system in his Chevy but he also put on 44" tires. My preferance is skyjacker and will be putting in a 3" kit this summer on my Tacoma... Hope this helps. Good Luck

Q: Ok i switched the jumper cables and blew some fuses in my 2000 Toyota Tundra. I replaced the 120A fuse but my ?
radio doesn't work and the truck struggles and shuts off immediately upon taking my foot off the gas! Which fuse should i suspect. I looked and none of the transparent fuses are blown but there are several box fuses i cant know without a test-light. Does anyone know which may be the culprit? I already replaced battery and fuses are to save computer problems. Thanks tho.. For box fuses i have the HEATER, STARTER, PWR OUTLET, HEAD, FUEL PUMP, EFI, FOG and C/OPN.. Ok so i borrowed a friends continuity tester for the fuses and they seem fine but my test-light is not showing power too my fuse seats! Oof this sucks is it my wiring or is the fuse box screwed? Only three fuse-seats are testing negative..

A: I would assume that if you needed jumper cables, it's because your battery was dead? If that was the case I know the exact problem. You need a new battery. I had the same problem as you did with shutting down of the vehicle when you take the foot off the gas. Im going to guess the the battery is an older battery that hasn't been changed as well. If the above is true, I'd bet my money on the battery because no fuses control anything that has to do with the gas pedal and the engine. Batteries only work for so long before they can't hold a charge. Even if it gets recharged by the alternator or battery charger, it may not be able to hold the charge. I also assume that the engine takes a while to turn over when you start it? Anyway, new Battery is my answer.

Q: 2000 Toyota Tundra Oxygen Sensor?
Continuous problems experienced yearly and dealer says heat & cold destroys them. Would installing headers eliminate this problem? Also do you know of any recall / recourse action?

A: Actually headers wouldn't have a place in them for the sensor and would throw your computers fuel air mix ratio off (give you worse gas mileage) . Sorry I know of no recall , I would however change brands of the sensor you are changing , I have always had good luck out of Bosch products , just an idea though . Good luck

Q: 2000 toyota tundra truck goes wur, wur, wur, click, ckick, click and wont start?
I noticed in the last couple of months it would take longer to start (1 or two wur, wur's to 5 or 6 wur wur's) but i ignored it as long as it started today when it started the interior lights started flashing then stopped so i ignored it again, while i was driving down the road the factory alarm started going off so i pulled over and turned off the trk. when i tried to start it up it went wur, wur, wur, click, click and would not start. What could be the problem? thanks

A: Have the battery tested for free, If it is okay have the alternator tested for free. (Auto Zone or O'Reilly's e al will do this.) Replace which ever one is faulty

Q: What are best spark plugs for 2000 Toyota V8 4X4 Tundra TRD?

A: Nippondenso. NGK's are also good plugs. If you want the best, buy Nippondenso Iridium plugs but be prepared to spend about $15 each and make sure you get the right heat range. A good Toyota counterman can reference the chart and get the right ones.

Q: 2000 Tundra won't start?
2000 Toyota Tundra won't start. Son is stranded 400 miles away. He seems to think it is a toyota code. They siphoned gas out of it and they think it may be something related. He thinks that you do something to the key, it will start. (Had a Lexus one time that did same thing and fixed it)

A: Tell him to check the battery connection. The starter cable should be clean and tight as well as the ground. The fuel pump should buzz for a second when he puts his key in and turns the ignition switch without it turning.

Q: Audio wiring diagram for a 2000 Tundra? ?

Q: Toyota Tundra Exhaust Part?
Hi, I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra. Today when I started it up something was rattling underneath so I took a look. It happened to be some sort of a guard for a piece that connected to the exhaust pipe. This piece was a few inches after the catalytic converter I believe. It also was connected to some sort of electronic component. I know this is a vague description but would anybody know what the piece is called? Thanks.

A: either it is a heat shield you are describing or a O2 sensor good luck

Q: Price for used toyota tundra?
I just bought a 2000 Toyota Tundra for 8000.00. Extednded cab 2 wheel drive 8 cylinder with 70000 miles. Seems to be in good shape. Good buy or no? Average condition value? I looked it up kelly bluef book had 8200,and looked at auto trader and there was nothing even close everthing was 2 to 3 thousand more. I think toyotas sell for more than listed. tThat is why i asked, wish i could have gotten more replys.

A: 1.Seeing as you already bought it, what's the point of asking now if it was a good buy or not? 2. Do you like the vehicle? If so, who cares what anyone else thinks? You're the one who has to drive it, so you're the one to decide whether it was a good purchase or not. 3. Average condition value for a Toyota Tundra, is around $5,500-6000. So you paid a bit too much for it. But, that's not to say you got scammed or ripped off, because you could have looked up the value before you bought it. Which means you didn't. And that means you just agreed to their price.....so....while you overpaid them, that's only your fault.

Q: where is the Intake air temp on a Toyota tundra?

Q: can any toyota tech tell how to replace my right rear axle bearing in my 2000 tundra 4x4?

A: Yes, if they put it up on a rack and check for excessive end play in the bearing, and it is out of factory spec, then it is bad. Or if it is grinding.

Q: toyota tundra recall?
