Q: Why is the 2009 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab not available in a manual transmission?
A: Toyota has done what pretty much all of the major automobile manufacturers have done in light of what limited demand there is in manual transmission trucks and limited their higher end vehicles to only automatic transmissions. There is only a very small number (in relation to people looking for auto trans.) of people looking for manual transmissions in trucks such as that. Add to that the manufacturers have to get all of the EPA, NHTSA and other testing done on EVERY configuration of each model they wish to sell, offering a manual transmission of a model adds literally millions of dollars to the cost of manufacturing a vehicle.
That's why Toyota, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, etc. don't offer manual transissions in many of their larger model trucks.
Hope this helps to explain, even if it doesn't make it any easier for those of us that like to drive manual transmission trucks.

A: DUDE!!NO WAY!! I thought I was the only one with a gay truck. my 05 tacoma does that. when u hit the keyless doors right?? I think its water in the horn and freezing a little bit.but I don't know for sure. WOW!! I'm just glad it's not just mine.

How do you get it to stop? according to the owners manuel it says its due for an oil change
A: The reset procedure should be in the owner's manual. For most Toyota's, with the key off, press and hold the trip reset button. Then turn the key on, and you should see a row of bars (------) flashing in the trip/odometer display. Continue holding the button down, until the bars go away. Depending on the model, you may need to set the display to trip a or trip b before starting the procedure.

Does Anyone Know If A Toyota Tacoma Access Cab Has Seats In The Back That Can Hold A Car Seat??? I Know Its A Bench But I Am Curious If It Is Wide Enough And Safe Enough!
A: According to the website they only have them on the Double Cab (4 Door) the Access Cab only has the Child Seat system in the Front passenger seat.

when im going about 5-7 mph its making a thumping noise like if someone is banging on the trucks floor slowly then when iam going about 60 mph it goes much faster and it is really annoying and the dealer doesnt notice it and he also said "its normal" another problem it has is that all three speakers in the back are blown out or ripped or something becuase they sound like crap but the dealer says yu have to tune the radio or something like that

A: let's put it this way. companies that make quality products,stay and business and thrive from customer satisfaction and repeat business. and you see toyota asking for handout to stay alive. do you? if thats not clear enough for you. I am a tow truck driver and i tow chevy trucks back to the dealer all the time. I rarely tow any toyotas and when i do it's due to human error i.e. crashing them or neglectful maintenance. i wouldnt wish a GM product on my worst enemy.

Hey everyone!
Today is a day we have been waiting for since last summer. We are announcing the first dates for our FIRST WORLD TOUR!!!
We are thrilled to announce that we're getting back out on the road for our FIRST WORLD TOUR - - THE JONAS BROTHERS WORLD TOUR 2009! We are so excited to come to your city and play you all our NEW music from our upcoming JUNE 15th album release! We will have very special guests opening for us on this tour - JORDIN SPARKS and HONOR SOCIETY! We've been hard at work in the studio and can't wait for you to hear/see our new music. We've setup an amazing NEW STAGE for this tour that allows us to be even CLOSER to each and everyone of you. There are also fun new tricks like a Water Screen and other crazy stuff. Tickets in select markets go on sale March 20th (or March 16th if you're a Fan Club member) and all dates are on sale March 28th. We are so excited and can't wait for this amazing opportunity - OUR FIRST WORLD TOUR!!!
We have several concerts planned in the Bahamas and Puerto Rico before the summer tour begins.
Our WORLD TOUR begins in LATIN and SOUTH AMERICA. We cannot wait to visit South America for the first time. We will be in Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.
After South America we start rehearsals for our most ambitious tour, stage, and performance ever. There will be NEW SONGS from our new CD, as well as our new TV show. There will also be more special features than you can imagine.
After rehearsals we fly to EUROPE where we will have shows in Spain, France, and London, England and a few cities in the US for the WORLDWIDE RELEASE of our NEW CD. We are in the studio now working on new songs and sounds. We cannot wait to share them with you.
Then we come back to NORTH AMERICA and tour throughout most of the summer in the US and CANADA.
Our first World Tour date is in DALLAS, TEXAS at the NEW COWBOYS STADIUM. This will be an EXTRA SPECIAL show that will include SPECIAL GUESTS like we have done in previous shows in LA and Nashville. You never know who might join us on stage!!!! We are so excited to start our tour in this amazing new stadium.
The rest of the summer tour will bring us through cities throughout North America.
