Q: someone is tryin to sell me a 1995 toyota supra on Gumtree website, he is in UK and i am in Australia ?
he said its free for shipping and here is what he said "I will pay all the shipping taxes. Here is how I want to go about delivery and payment for the car which will be through a shipping company and will also give you the chance to inspect the car before I receive the payment for it. Q: toyota supra twin turbo insurance?
Can anyone give me any idea how much insurance *liability* would be for a 1995 toyota supra with twin tubro? and is it true if the twin turbo is aftermarket i dont have to tell my insurance i have it? thank you

A: impossible to guess.... the basic factors that affect rate are(but not limited to) age, garaging address, and driving record. As for not telling the insurance company,that could lead to trouble..... When you sign an application you are stating that you have read it and to the best of your knowledge its correct. If there are any "misrepresentations" on the app they can refund your premium and void your policy. So the questions you need to ask yourself are Am I buying insurance to just have a policy number? OR Am I buying it to actually have coverage? Hopefully you are looking into the latter..... Now the best way to get a good rate is to contact at least 2 independent insurance agents and ask them to shop around for you. Behind the scenes at the agents office they will probably run you with at least 3 different insurance companies each..... The end result???? You get to shop around with at least 6 companies but on make 2 calls to get it done...... Good Luck!

A: BMW most reliable MB overpriced, very expensive parts & service Jaguar = avoid at all costs, unreliable Supra very nice but getting old, hard to find parts, usually comes with increased insurance rates check with your co.

A: For me the older ones are better but I love the looks of a super car not limited to 155 so the softop doesn't get ripped off. There also easier to drive fast. The S2000 may go faster in some conditions but for the money you can't beat a well kept RX7 or Supra of those years. Any idiot (case in point look at a honda dealership) can buy a new one. I've driven all three, the Supra is more stable at high speed. RX7 drives nicer and I was able to circle the track faster in it than the others. S2000 is smooth but to not forgiving when racing, nor is it easy to keep it in the powerband on the street. It's like nothing, nothing, nothing, BANG then shift.

i buddy and myself were haveing a debate about the fastest street legal car. and i was wondering isnt the fastest street legal car in the 1/4 mile a toyota supra. he says it is some camaro and i remember reading somewhere that it was a supra with like a th-88 turbo, which is the same size as a mack trucks turbo. am i right to believe it is a supra. and also with unlimited resources what can be made faster 1995 turbo supra or 02 trans-am please no bias answers i want opinions and please no "imports suck comments. keep in mind i said fastest in the 1/4 mile please no one mention mclaren or bugatti i know they are not the fastest in the 1/4 mile

Q: Why have my cars lost power? Anyone having the same problem?
I own a 1997 Toyota Supra and a 1995 Celica. Both cars are in mint condition and they are both regularly maintained at their appropriate intervals. However, for some time now I have noticed a significant loss of power in both cars. They both have lost "pick-up" and they have trouble sustaining high speeds. The Celica's engine even stutters, something that never happened before. I have always put and still put 93 octane in these two cars. I have never had this problem. The problem started just a few months ago but it seems to have become very pronounced now. . Is anyone having a similar problem? Thank you in advance for your answers. Thanks for your answers. Here is additional detail: No engine light on in the cars.

A: I dont believe either car needs high octane unless its turbo charged. Check these items. 1. Check engine light..If the vehicle needs a sensor, oxygen, mass air or others...this will rob power. 2. Fuel filter can be clogged..Do you always drive to empty before filling up? 3. Do the vehicles eat oil..If so there is a loss of compression which =loss of power. 4. Do the vehicles eat coolant..If so there is a loss of compression which =loss of power. 5.Spark plugs, wires, ignition coil and distributer cap. These will show the most symptoms in wet weather. Q: What is your dream car?
Mine is actually pretty realistic... kinda. 1995 Toyota MR2 Turbo, clean, black pristine paint on the outside with tan leather seats, tan carpet, black floormats, tan shiftboot, nice subs behind the seats, and some clean wheels. Or red with mostly tan interior. Next to that would be a Supra or Mitsubishi 3000gt VR4

A: Its great to have real dreams cars and i life it gives you the chance to reach them sometimes. Your Mr2 is a great looking car and we was offered one as a swap many years ago for our 180sx but with the kids on the way it was no good without the back seats but a real shame. My ultimate in dream car would be a z tune R34 or an 400R R33,all of which are out of my price range. But when we swapped cars a few years ago from our maxima my wife let me have one of my dream cars which was an R32 Nissan Skyline which really was a great car in fact so much so when we swapped we went for an R33 Spec 2 Skyline which we have now. Hopefully we can get an R34 GTT next time,ideal would be an GTR version but thats out of our price range but iam happy with the models down and its still a dream car. The 3000gt is a lovely car and another we have loooked at getting my cousin owned one and wanted to sell it to us knowing my wife loves them but we had just got the R32 so it came at a bad time,but i did get to drive it. Q: Question About Cars....?
I'm thinking about buying a car. I have two offers: a 1986 Toyota Supra (200,000 miles) for $1,100.00 and a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron (124,000 miles) for $2,000.00. Are these cars worth it? Both are said to be in good working condition and clean, aside from a slight alignment problem with the Supra (it drifts to the right). If they are worth it, which car would be the better choice to buy? I only go from home to school and back. Occasionally I will go out with it, but it will be basically just an "around town" type of car. Thanks for the help! Is that a LOT of miles? when will they die?

A: I would not get either. The supra has toooo many miles and something is sure to go wrong and the LeBaron also has alot of miles for the car it is. (my friend had one and it was horrible).
