A: supra no competition supras are the greatest
Q: Where can you buy a 1994-2002 toyota supra ?
looking to buy one
A: I'd check Autotrader.com...they usually have a nice batch of them
Also Ebay...which you probably already knew about
Craigslist is another option
Make sure you go after the twin turbo models with lots of engine mods! Some of those are making really serious power!
Q: How much is a wrecked red 1994 twin turbo 6-speed toyota supra worth?
My brother got the back smashed. He was stopped but someone who was driving 40 mph hit the back side. It wasn't totalled but my dad told the insurance company to total it out because the people who were gonna fix it said that there is no way it can be fixed to drive good again because of the damage to the frame. the insurance company wants to give us $32,000 for it but there is no way we can get another car like it for that much money. to buy the car how it is salvaged would be $11,500. We don't know what to do, the car is complete stock in excellent condition. had only 75k, was covered and was rarely driven once we bought it.
A: No way to fix this type of frame damaged car. If you cannot get the similar car with that much of money, the insurance company is screwing you over. You should call the insurance company and argue. If they don't give you more money, take the $32000, then file a law suit using small claims (should take about $100 to do the paper work) court for additional $5000. Minute that you file a paper work, they will call you and try to settle it out of court.

Q: what main parts are needed on a toyota supra to street/drag race?
i am into strret racing with friends and foes
what main parts of a 1994 toyota supra twin turbo are most important for this. and how much will it cost?
A: here's a list of the most important parts :-
Turbos (you may need to upgrade them).
Bov : "blow-off" valve, this unit is important because it ensures that the turbos don't "back spool" and get damaged. Also they produce a very cool sound !.
Intercooler : this cools the air that is being fed into your engine by the turbo chargers.
Oil cooler : this cools the oil in the lubricating system, which receives immense heat from the turbos.
Cold air intake.
Suspension: power without control means nothing, suspension controls the overall handling of your car, it also gives your car a slight edge over the competition.
Exhaust.
Boost gauge: allows you to see the psi you're getting form your turbos.
Aftermarket ECU + a laptop: these allow you to adjust your air/fuel mixture, timing, powerband....etc.
LSD : Limited slip differential, this is a special differential that "locks up" both drive wheels on acceleration, thus giving your car better traction.Try using the 1.5 way.
Limiter : this device ensures that you don't carry your car pass its rpm redline and blow the engine.
Clutch.
This is all I can think of right now, as for the price of these components, it depends on the aftermarket companies you purchase them from, expect to pay anywhere from $15,000 and up for quality parts. Wish you the best in your modifying quest, hope I was of assistance to you.
Q: 1994 - 1995 Toyota Supra price?
I have wanted to get one of these cars ever since I saw The Fast and the Furious i want to make it look just like it did in the movie color and all (just to let you know its the orange car Dom and Brian fix up towards the middle/end of the movie) anyway i want to put close to 700HP in it but that will be later how much would it cost me for this car and about how much would it cost me for all the fix up's
specs and websites would be great thanks
A: Hello, I have some good info for you. So you want a 700+ hp MKIV supra. First off you will need to buy a supra, finding one that hasnt been modified is tuff, but they are out there, and people will be expecting top dollar$$$ for an un modified supra tt!!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK, AND DONT BUY THE FIRST ONE YOU SEE, AND REMEMBER IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS! expect to pay any where from $20,000-$60,000 just for the car depending on mileage and condition, because you want it STOCK. Now for the good stuff 700+ hp is a-lot of power!!! :) you will want to start small and build your way up to 700 hp, because just to buy ALL the parts turbo, intrcoolr, fuelsystm, pistns, brakes, cams, clutch and transmission upgrades,lsd,suspension... trust me the list just goes on and on. the total will be way way up there at least $40,000. then you need to have all those parts installed, find an honest shope that can get the parts and install them as well. I cant say it will cost about this much but I can tell you that most performance shops charge any where from $80.00 to $130.00 an hour, yes this is outrageous but they will sell you the parts at cost, maby discount it a little bit on such a large order.MABY. SO YOU ARE PROBABLY WONDERING HOW MANY HOURS WILL IT TAKE. Who knows, the shope probably wouldnt even be able to tell you because its such a big project they will need time cause they cant stop the whole show for one guy, they would go out of bussiness, but they will get it done, as long as you have the $$. So you will need to see some parts for your self to get a better idea, Go and check out MVPMOTORSPORTS.COM they have a-lot of parts for supras and is organized very well with pictures and specs. They also have professional instalation if you wish to ship them your vehicle.
Your probably wondering how I know all this. Well I have a 1994 single turbo supra and a wonderfull shope neer my house that specializes in modifing supras. Check them out at SOUND-PERFORMANCE.COM GIVE THEM A CALL AND THEY WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ANSWER ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS HONESTLY. I HAVE PERSONALLY DONE A-LOT OF BUSSINESS WITH THEM AND THEY ROCK AND THEY ARE THE BEST GUYS FOR THE JOB. THEY ALSO CAN ORDER ANYTHING FOR YOUR SUPRA AND INSTALL IT TOO. THEY DO ANYTHING TO THE SUPRAS YOU WANT IF YOU WANT TO PAINT YOUR SUPRA THEY CAN EVEN HOOK YOU UP WITH A GREAT PAINTER. SORRY ABOUT ANY SPELLING ERRORS SPELL CHECK WONT WORK FOR SOME REASON AND GOOD LUCK AND HOPE YOU BUILD THE CAR OF YOUR DREAMS....
Q: Problems with my Toyota Supra (Won't start no matter what)?
I have a 1994 Toyota Supra (same one from Fast and furious except mine is automatic and red) and it does not want to start no matter what. Even after we buy a new battery. It has over 100,000 miles on it. Before it would start after we bought it a new battery but that stopped eventually. What can I do? Please respond as soon as possible.
A: Buy what you describe and the mileage at 100k I would bet it has run out of rice, LOL.
Q: whats best for a toyota supra .... super charged or twin turbo engine?
i have a 1994 toyota supra. i am into drag raceing/street racing with friends i was wondering if super charger or turbocharger is best
A: it depends on what your looking for, turbos are great when you street racing since your usually moving and the turbos are spooled to maximum. a supercharger is awesome for low to mid range power. personally i would go with the twin turbo, you could build more power that way.
Q: Toyota supra 3 lit re non turbo?
what is the standard brake horsepower on a toyota supra 1994 its a 3 litre twin cam naturally aspirated engine not a turbo
A: Actually it is 220 for the non turbo and 320 for the turbo
Q: 1994 Mazda rx7, Nissan 300zx, Nissan Skyline and Toyota Supra???
Can i have some info on 1994 versions. What are the cons and pros of these cars? What kind of mileage do they get? Do they need to be fixed and tuned up all the time?
Thank you for your answers
A: Wow! First of all, they are all great cars. But like you asked for, there are some cons to all of them that are pretty significant, but depending on what you plan on using this (these) car(s) for, the pros may far outweigh the cons. So here we go!
Mazda RX-7
We'll start at the top of your list. The 1994 RX-7 is probably the epitome of japanese sports cars. However, it has some pretty large faults... The first of which lies within the engine itself. The engine, as you may or may not already know, is a 2-Rotor Rotary engine. This means that instead of using standard pistons to make a 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder, etc. engine, two triangular-shaped rotors spin around in their own separate combustion chambers to turn a shaft and make power. While this design is very compact and incredibly powerful, the rotor seals are flimsy and often disintegrate, resulting in some costly reapirs. Depending on how the car was (is) maintained, this could mean that you need to replace or rebuild the engine one or more times throughout the car's life. Not to mention that the rotary engine also yields gas mileage close to that of many V-8's. Meaning around 17-19 mpg if you keep your right foot at bay. Also, these cars are very popular with tuners, meaning that it will be VERY hard to find an unmolested/stock one in good shape, for a good price. But, these cars are incredibly fun, especially the Turbo versions, which have close to 300hp! They handle like they're on rails, and get all kinds of looks from everyone!
Nissan 300ZX
These are probably the cheapest to find and maintain on a budget. While yes, 300's are very fast, especially the Twin-Turbo version, good ones can be hard to find. Most have used and abused by kids, and tuners, while a select few have been lovingly cared for by enthusiasts. These are what you want. They are also the easiest to maintain because the VG30DE engine in these cars is also the engine used in the ever-popular Nissan Maxima. Therefore, parts are cheap, easy to find, and easy to install. They also probably get the best gas mileage (even the Turbo). With mileage around 19-20(ish) mpgs, you can never go wrong with a nice 300ZX!
Nissan Skyline
If you live in the U.S., you should probably avoid this car altogether, unless you have a very large budget. While this car is incredibly fast and fun to drive, it is a pain to get parts for simply because you have to order them from all over. Plus, not many people in the U.S. know how to tune or repair these cars, because they were never imported here by Nissan. That also means that if you didn't buy one that was already imported by someone else, you have to pay to get it shipped here, then it has to be modified to pass US emmisions and inspections, again requiring a large budget. Plus, the car is Right Hand Drive, which can cause some sight problems for driving on US Roads. And, they are a beast to buy, as the prices for even the R32 models are still in the $20k range. As for the mileage, if you are considering buying a Skyline (especially a GT-R) the gas mileage will be terrible as you will be flooring it all the time, just so it can bring an ear-to-ear grin to your face. If you can secure one for a decent price, GO FOR IT! You won't regret it! And you'll be the only one on your block with a Skyline!
Toyota Supra
And last, but certainly not least, the legendary Supra. These cars are also very reliable, much like the 300ZX and the Skyline. And parts are not that badly priced. Plus, they, like the Skyline, use an Inline-6 Cylinder engine, so it's pretty easy to replace parts, as there's a good amount of room in the engine bay. Also, many shops know these cars and how to work on them, so maitenance shouldn't be too bad either. But, on the flip side, they are very expensive to buy. Like the 300 and the RX-7, the Supra is a very popular tuner car and they are a hot comoddity, especially the year you are considering. Prices for nice ones usually run upwards of $25K. But, if you have the means, the mileage isn't too bad, about that of an RX-7, and it is a smooth and civilized car that can still smoke many other more recent sports cars and bring a smile to anyone's face!
Hope this helps! Good luck in buying your next car!
Q: What's the maintinence like on a 94' toyota Supra?
I might buy a 1994 Single Turbo Supra with 51k original miles. I was wondering what the maintinence cost and upkeep is like on those? He is asking 8,500 what do you think you would pay for it 6500,7000,7500???
A: For the price you should check Kelley Blue Book at www.kbb.com for prices based on mileage, condition, etc. As for maintenance, Toyotas will run forever with minor maintenance such as spark plugs, oil changes, and fuel filter. All of these repairs are cheap, especially if you can do them yourself. Just be careful about the turbo. They can be costly to repair. See if the seller will let your mechanic check out the car first. Always a good bet.
Q: why toyota supura is so expensive?
well 1994 toyota supra with over 100.000 mile
is over $20.000...
why is so expensive?
A: Don't mind Peter K. He hasn't had his estrogen today.
RICE doesn't stand for anything. It's been made into an acronym, because it's funny. But the term, is just slang. Not an acronym.
Nevermind that if he took the time to READ, he'd understand that "ricer's dream" would imply that it's the dream of a ricer to have that car. Seeing as they can't, they put stickers on their car, to hope it goes faster. Which means, a Skyline and Supra, are indeed, the dream cars of ricers.
Poor kid doesn't know what he's talking about. Moving along...
The Supra is expensive, because there is a large following for it. It was made more popular with Fast and the Furious; but it's simply a good design to start with.
The engine is near bullet proof. In top form, it's twin turbo, 6 speed transmission, rwd, and a VERY nice interior. It's fast, reliable, and looks good.
All good reasons to maintain it's value.
